Getting started
Create your account and tell Roamvio how you like to travel.
Create an account
- Go to the sign-up page and choose email & password, or continue with Google.
- If you sign up with email, check your inbox for a verification link — resend it from the sign-in screen if it doesn't arrive.
- Forgot your password? Use Reset password on the sign-in page, or request a one-time magic link instead of typing a password.
Onboarding — set your travel preferences
Right after signup, a short onboarding flow collects your interests, budget level, and travel style — this personalizes destination suggestions later. Your progress saves automatically as you go.
Dashboard
Your home base after signing in.
The dashboard greets you by name and gives an at-a-glance view of your travel activity: total trip counts, upcoming trips sorted by date, recently viewed trips, and quick action shortcuts to create a new trip, explore destinations, or jump back into planning.
Trips
Create, organize, and manage every trip you're planning.
Your trip list
The Trips page lists everything you're planning, with filters and sorting to find a trip quickly. Create a new trip, duplicate an existing one as a starting point, or delete trips you no longer need.
Inside a trip
- Trip summary — destinations, date range, and status.
- Tripmates — everyone invited, and their join status.
- Stops & itinerary — a day-by-day timeline.
- Budget snapshot — quick spend overview, linked to the full tracker.
Planner & map
Build your itinerary visually, stop by stop.
Open a trip in the Planner to see your itinerary alongside an interactive map — an itinerary rail, a map pane, and a detail pane for editing whatever stop you've selected.
Adding stops
- Use the map's place search to find a location, or add one manually.
- Fill in date, time, and notes in the stop editor.
- Reorder stops by dragging them in the rail — the map and directions update to match.
Drag any stop to reorder your day — the map updates instantly.
Explore destinations
Browse over a hundred destinations across India with practical, local detail.
Search and filter destinations by tags like pilgrimage, beach, or hill stations, sort results, and load more as you scroll. Each destination has its own detail page with points of interest, hotel and transport info, train-first travel tips, best months to visit, and similar destinations.
Roadtrip mode Preview
A dedicated mode for road trips by bike or car.
Roadtrip mode switches Roamvio's discovery feed and planning tools to a road-trip lens — a bike lens (touring routes suited to something like a Royal Enfield Himalayan) or a car lens (EV-ready routes suited to something like a Mahindra Thar). Filters like twisty roads or charging availability adjust automatically based on which vehicle you pick.
Community trips
Get inspired by trips other travelers have planned and shared publicly.
The Community page shows public trips from other Roamvio users, organized into tabs like Trending, Latest, Train trips, Pilgrimage, Northeast, and Budget. Like a trip to save it for later, or clone it directly into your own account as an editable starting point.
Share one link — tripmates join instantly, no app hunting required.
Budget tracker
Track spending and split costs fairly across your group.
The Budget page pulls together every expense across your trips. Add, edit, or delete expenses, tag them by category, and see a breakdown chart of where your money is going. For group trips, Roamvio calculates balances between tripmates and suggests settlements — who owes whom, and how much.

Packing lists
Never forget the essentials.
Each trip gets its own packing list, organized into categories with checkboxes you can tick off as you pack. Add custom items, reuse saved templates for recurring trip types, or start from suggested items based on your destination and trip length. Lists can be exported or shared directly from your phone.

Search
Find trips and destinations fast.
The search bar looks across both your trips and the destination catalog at once. Recent searches are saved for quick access, and a set of popular India destination chips helps you get started if you're not sure what to search for.

Stay on top of trip activity — available once you're signed in.
Roamvio notifies you about trip updates, tripmate activity, booking-related alerts, community interactions, achievements, and helpful travel tips.
Profile & settings
Make Roamvio look and feel like yours.
Appearance
Switch between light and dark theme, and pick an accent color from six palettes — Ember, Cosmos, Reef, Dusk, Terra, and Bloom. Change the app's font pairing (Modern, Elegant, Rounded, Geometric, or Editorial), and switch the interface language between English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Notifications & privacy
Toggle which emails and push alerts you receive, and control privacy options like whether your profile is public, whether your trip history is visible to others, and whether analytics are shared.
Privacy & your data
You're in control of your account data.
From your profile, export a copy of your account data at any time, or permanently delete your account and data if you decide to stop using Roamvio. For full details on what's collected and how it's used, see the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
